Global TV’s coverage of the event
Team Peloton 65 wanted to extend a huge thanks to all of our participants and sponsors who helped to make our 2nd Annual Walk for Thomas another success.
It was COLD today in Calgary. And in spite of this, we still drew nearly 250 walkers, and welcomed 60 + eager volunteers.
Team Peloton 65 continues to be blown away by the continued support and encouragement shown by our followers.
Together we raised awareness and funds for the fight against neuroblastoma. And we remembered a very special little boy missed by many.
We look forward to sharing amazing footage captured by our crew of photographers and videographers- stay tuned for updates.
Finally, we’d like to extend another heartfelt thanks to the generous donations from our sponsors:
Premium Sausage (Seven Persons, AB)
Semmens, Forbes & Wood Real Estate
Thanks again to everyone who walked with us in Calgary, or who walked wherever your Sunday might have taken you (except those of our supporters in Maui…that’s just cruel to us in the deep freeze!)

My friend, Lloyd Graham, from Peterborough Ontario sits on the committee of the James Fund (started in Peterborough, Ontario). The James Fund would like to send Diana Birrell to Calgary to participate in the Walk Run as a representative from Peterborough. To keep costs to a minimum, Lloyd asked me if I could find accommodation for her from Oct 18 to Oct 21. I can pick her up at the airport and bring her to where ever she needs to go but I don’t have room for her at my home on that weekend. If anyone is able to help out or can suggest an alternate place of accommodation, please let me know.
Thank you!
